Sharing Jesus, Changing Lives
3 Peaks Challenge
"WE DID IT!"

The youth and children's team has just completed the three Yorkshire Peaks challenge, raising nearly £1,200 for their work within CMS.

Dave, Anita and Mike alongside some other friends (Louise, Merlin and Andy) walked their socks off on Saturday 13th June. Although one of the team ran out of energy before the final peak, Dave, Anita and Mike celebrated with aching feet at the top of the third peak.

Thank you to all who sponsored so generously to support them.  There is still time to give if you would like to.

Dave, Anita and Mike work with young people and children primarily in the UK. Alongside other CMS mission partners, they want to see young people's lives changed through meeting Jesus in creative ways.

ABOUT THE WALK:

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk is a very demanding walk, which takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent (694 metres - 2,276 feet), Whernside (736 metres - 2,415 feet) and Ingleborough (723 metres 2,372 feet) all in one circular route.

The walk was 24.5 miles (39.2km) long and took in over 5,000 feet (1,600 metres) of climbing.
